Human Life Cycle in Quran

           Human Life Cycle in Quran

The Quran describes the human life cycle as a progression through various stages, from creation as a "nutfah" (a drop of sperm) to "alaqah" (a clot) and "mudghah" (a chewed piece), culminating in the "blowing of the spirit" and eventual death and resurrection.

Creation:

The Quran describes the creation of humans from "nutfah" (a drop of sperm) and "alaqah" (a clot), then "mudghah" (a chewed piece).

Ensoulment:

The Quran mentions the "blowing of the spirit" into the fetus, marking a significant stage in human development.

Stages of Life:

The Quran also speaks about the stages of life, including infancy, youth, adulthood, and old age, with verses referencing weakness, strength, and eventual decline.

Death and Resurrection:

The Quran emphasizes the concept of death and the afterlife, with the Day of Judgment and the final destination of souls, either Paradise or Hell.

Key Verses:

Surah Al-Mu'minun (23:12-14):

"Indeed, We created mankind from an extract of clay. Then We made the drop (of semen) in a safe receptacle. Then We created the drop into a clot, and then We created the clot into a lump of flesh, and then from that lump of flesh We created bones, and then We clothed the bones with flesh. Then We brought it out as another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators."

Surah Ar-Rum (30:54):

"Allah created you in a state of weakness, then after weakness He gave you strength, then after strength He made you weak and old."

Surah Al-Hajj (22:5):

"And indeed, We created you from dust, then from a drop, then from a clot, then from a piece of flesh, then from bones, then clothed with flesh. Then you became another creation."
